monarch

I edited this photo in Picmonkey, although I can do it with my camera--but I don't think about it when I'm taking photos.

  3. Interesting way of getting your subject to stand out. I was totally surprised to see a Monarch Butterfly in New Zealand. A quick search of the internet brought my knowledge up to date. Thanks to you I lost some of ignorance today.

  4. Ha ha , I really should have had my coffee, too much looking at the picture and ignoring the title! :) It is a beautiful Monarch butterfly. We have had so few butterflies this year, really sad.

  9. Beautiful picture and editing ... I am curious as to what kind of camera you have that you could accomplish this with it alone. I agree, you needn't think about your edits as you photograph ... there is time for that and you clearly are very good at it. Very nice, Betty ...
