Kai Iwi Stream

This scene was totally different when we were here a few years ago. The bridge was in pieces at that time and the stream had a different path. Now the new bridge gives you access across the swimming hole that has been created.

  10. I don't know if I've mentioned this but there is a place up past Dargaville called Kai Iwi Lakes, fresh water lakes, great for diving, snorkeling and catching trout, great holiday spot.

  16. it's always fun to go back to a place and see ow it has changed. And man the ocean to boot... i miss the ocean. i am landlocked here... but we have a trip planned :-)
