    Beautiful Pied Stilts. I was lucky enough to see the black stilts when I was visiting in the SI a couple of years ago.

    I always marvel at the wading bird legs and how vulnerable they may be as in here to snapping turtle or something attack..But it is warm and they have food.. cute too... Michelle
