This sign is from Pioneer Village. I wish I knew the date for the sign.
"This room is equipped with Edison Electric Light. Do not attempt to light with match. Simply turn key on wall by the door. The use of Electricity for lighting is in no way harmful to health, nor does it affect the soundness of sleep."

  2. Great photos. I love the exclamation mark signs that you have over there. In Australia it would have to be quantified what the perceived danger was. In NZ an "!" says it all.
