This is what happens when a car pulls up at the 'pig out point' (parking spaces where you go to watch the ocean while you eat your takeout take-aways.)
They wait ever so patiently and look so harmless--until the first french fry chip is glimpsed.
Then this happens!
So that's what that place is called! I've only ever known it as 'Granddad's Beach'
ReplyDeleteFun series of shots - it's like a story. Well done.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures!
ReplyDeleteI love your title! So true. You are smart to eat your chips in the car. I once made the mistake of eating boiled shrimp on the beach and they dove and snatched them right off the plate in front of me!
ReplyDeleteReally nice photos. I enjoy your blog.
I love this post.
ReplyDeleteJust the way gulls act. I miss them already.
Have a nice day.

Oh that is a great shots of those innocent little rascals. I used to be chased for my bag of potato chips on the beach by these critters...scared me half to death which was their plan so we would drop the bag and run.
ReplyDeletefabulous photos...I especially like the first one where the gulls looks so innocent! Each gull looks individual too with its own personality I bet!
ReplyDelete:D Worth some french fries (chips - I know ;)) to get those photos :)

ReplyDeleteOh but I do miss the dainty Silver Gulls - round here it is the much larger Herring Gulls and Black-backs and such... Oh well, I have the memories! YAM xx
So cute...lovely gulls!
ReplyDeleteThey are lined up like good little soldiers and then they attack!
ReplyDeleteFabulous first picture - really good. But I do find gulls greedy, vicious, creatures. In the UK they are a real menace in some places and, personally, I think they should be culled.
ReplyDeleteSå häftigt att kunna mata dom genom fönstret. urläckra bilder.
ReplyDeleteHa en fin dag

ReplyDeleteThey look like they're having a meeting, all lined up there. Love these photos.
ReplyDeleteThis is such an awesome post...love love your photos. I had a gull take a chip right out of my lips once...scared the heck outa me,too. :)
ReplyDeleteBetty this is one of the best posts I've read. I can relate to those seagulls, they are the same over here. That first pic of the gulls all lined up is a classic.
ReplyDeleteLovely images. especially the first one is stunning !
ReplyDeleteGreetings
this looks cool :)
ReplyDeleteThis just cracked me up! :-) I have seen this so many times! The look on the gull's face in the first picture tells you exactly what is on their minds! Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteNice pictures. I like the birds.
ReplyDeleteOh yes I've seen this happen. Your shots are fabulous. That 1st photo does make them look quite innocent. They are, Pigs with Wings for sure.
ReplyDeleteEven in that first photo, the gull in the front of the line looks a little threatening -- like if you didn't feed him he might attack ;>).... They are the same the world over I'm sure... pigs on wings exactly.
