flowers in monochrome

these are flowers that Hubby bought for me last week.

    ...as others before, my first thought was to feel the lack of colour, then it struck me that it was so missed because of the stark structure which is brought out in the grey-dations. One wants to paint it! Which means this is a very effective shot. YAM xx

  14. Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog! I am drawn to your black and white image today as I contemplate doing more monochrome photography. I think the key is in the shading...and texture...of the subject. This is a beautiful image.
