Looking out my kitchen window on Sunday morning, I saw kites flying above the trees so we went to check it out. Clouds covered the sky but the wind was perfect for flying!
We lived up on a hill when I was growing up..and then we could take a little alley up to an even bigger hill to fly kites which we did religiously every March ! wonderful post! :)
I love that saying! I live in a perfect place to fly kites as we are close to lots of open space and it can get quite windy here on the front range of Colorado :)
I love seeing kites flying high up soaring in the sky. Too bad -- hardly any kites are flown in the US. In fact, only once in my life here I saw one guy fooling around with it in the central park in NYC. Never anywhere else.
What fun. My dad always enjoyed watching people fly kites at the beach. Coleen has a kite and loved flying it. Hopefully we can fly her kite again come spring.
