fence fail

A big problem with fencelines in NZ is when they are on the side of a hill where slips (landslides) take the ground from the supports. Fortunately, most fence fails are in places to mark pastures and are where livestock can't access the grass close to the fence.

  2. In the province I grew up in I've seen fences like this. They were used to keep wild animals that tried to cross mountain roads safe. Have a great weekend!

  3. This sort of thing happens a lot in Oregon too. We get a large amount of rain and it sends the steep slopes sliding.
