Love the close ups; very nice. We finally saw some at our lake a few years ago, and I only thought there was maybe one family, but this year, we saw so many. However, no black one. They are so graceful to watch. :)
Hi--I just watched a YouTube video about how much people loved living in New Zealand. You are very lucky! I'd watch that third swan if I were you, they are pretty, but oh, such nasty temperments if provoked in any way. Kind of like geese.

ReplyDeleteYour "models" are great! Wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteI love swans. We use to have them in our park Aviary but some were killed by raccoons who invade the enclosure. The black one's are so cool.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have seen a swan in person... Thank you for the opportunity to see their faces and for joining into Nature Notes... Michelle
