I wonder what's on the other side of this fence. It doesn't look greener...
I'll just duck under here and see for myself.
Whew! Made it!
Did anybody see me? What was that??
It definitely not greener, but the brown parts might work for my nest.
I think I hit the jackpot--look at all this stuff!
I'll hide a bunch behind this bush and come back to get it later!
Such a handsome bird!
ReplyDeleteThat magpie sure has a lot of personality! Pretty bird.... I tried to take a picture of one of "our" magpies when we were in Eastern Washington last week...no luck. Same coloring, but I think yours is more graceful looking.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bird! Glad to know from comment above that it was a magpie.
ReplyDeleteHaha,i am amused and smiled at the way you build your post, and it's cute. Its counterpart here is the Oriental Magpie Robin, and it comes to ground too. It is always near our house playing on the nearby fruit tree, so once we saw remnant feathers, maybe one of our cats got it. Am so sorry for it but they still come.
ReplyDeleteMaggies are handsome birds, great shots!
ReplyDeleteHa ha great shots love the story.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely story...I never saw a mapie before.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing.
Greetings to you

ReplyDeletethat post made me smile. So it is greener on the other side!
ReplyDeleteGood story! Now we know why the Mag went under the fence. Will it remember where it stashed it's extras? MB
ReplyDeleteA very handsome bird.

ReplyDeleteI have been away from the blog world and have come back recently. What a beautiful picture-story. Loved and enjoyed it every bit. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteThis is such an awesome looking bird!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting, Betty!
What a fun post. Your commentary was perfect for the photos. The magpie's you have there are different from the ones that live here. The ones here have long tail feathers.
