I use the second largest setting on my camera for photos--which is 2592 x 1944. My camera takes great macro shots (20x), but I have the option of cropping to see more details.
It certainly works! These are amazing. The dew drops or raindrops on the beautiful flower are so pretty I almost feel I could touch the picture and come away with wet hands!
I'm not even sure if I can do that large setting thing on my camera, that's how amateur I am.)
I love the way you've captured the dew drops (or rain drops?) on the flowers. It brings so much life to the photo. The flowers alone are gorgeous, but the water just gives the images that extra oomph. Well done.
And you consistently achieve excellent results. I always take at high resolution, but generally downsize and publish at low resolution, otherwise my slow connection can't handle them. Have a great week. Lovin' your blog, as always, Ess.
