beaten seaweed

Rough weather uprooted these seaweed and beat the leaves off the stems. Then they all washed onto the beach, looking like war casualties.

    I love walking on the beach and seeing what the waves bring to shore. I've seen a lot of seaweed over the years but nothing like your top photo.

    I remember hating seaweed when we would go to the beach because it felt slimey. That is a heck of a lot of seaweed.
