Stony is a good name for that river! The mountain peak is lovely; it looks like a volcano. I see the little bird tracks in the sand. So cute.
@Belle, that's Mt Taranaki, a dormant volcano.@Ross, those are footprints of pukekos, native birds.
Easy to see where the river gets its name :)
