poet's bridge

This is "Poet's Bridge"
The bridge was paid for with winnings bet on a horse called "Poet".
Not quite as romantic as you thought, is it?!

  1. This is beautiful. There is an air of mystery drawing you into the distance, yet it's nicely framed with the over-hanging tree. Lovely photo!

  3. Love the misty look in the photo, it creates a story in my mind. What was the little black circle thingy to the right??

  4. The winning horse could have had a more unfortunate name, I guess! I like how the red stands out in the mist.

    DAWN TO DUSK

Yellow’s the color I wear at dawn
When dancing dewdrops spangle the lawn.

Red is the color I wear at dusk
When earth and sky are dry as a husk

And nothing stirs—not even a wing
Of bat or swallow or anything!
