Patea in sepia



The remains of the Waitangi that sank in 1923. The tide exposes it every 10 years or so.

    The sepia works great on these photos. My favorite is the first because it has depth and contrast with the smooth hills in the background and the craggy, sinewy shape of the driftwood. Great job.

    I like how using sepia brings out the nuances of texture and shadows in photos. Also the solemn beauty of things. Beautiful!

    They are just BEAUTIFUL - I have a thing for driftwood on a beach and sepia enhances the image. My you are gifted. Wait til I show Hubby - he'll be green (or maybe even sepia) with envy.
