  1. Pretty church and what a big oak has grown from that tiny acorn. :)

  2. What a beautiful little church. That sky compliments the white and red so nicely...your composition on these is so good!

  3. The church might be ignored by some because of its size. Yet under a brilliant sun and glorious blue sky, the small is brilliant, and thus mighty. Nice capture, and that tree leaves a lasting legacy!

  4. When I was young, I was a little scared of small churches like that. I always had that feeling of seeing things in there just like in the movies. Haha.

  5. That is a well kept church, and the bench around the oak would be a wonderful place to relax on a hot day!

  8. I love the sign on the bench, and the real-life proof that "great oaks from little acorns grow."

  9. What a romantic story inscribed onto the seat. I wonder how Vera found her life as her little acorn grew...Greetings from Italy via BPOTW.

  11. It's lovely to think that someone brought a small seed of "home" to a new place and it's grown into a sheltering place in the new garden. The continuity in that is comforting somehow.

  13. Don't have your email, so I wanted to respond here. The black and white-looking photo on my blog was really color -- just a really washed out, grey day. It's so monochromatic that it looks black and white.
