    Lovely shots! It would be too cold for my comfort to be up there. We do get ground frost like that at the Horton Plains National Park in Dec-Jan.

    Great shots. That first one of the frozen pond strikes me most. It looks as though a large fish is swimming beneath the ice. I'm sure it's just a rock but still... my imagination.

    Wow, it's strange to see a frosted world when it's so hot here in the flatlands.

    I see that you used to live in Missouri. One of my best friends from Jr. High set sail around the world about 20 years ago and ended up staying in New Zealand. Somewhere around Whangeri...did I spell that correctly. I don't hear from her much but I know she loves it there.
