At one point, it was said that there were 9 sheep for every person here, but that has declined to about 5 per person.

Jim, they are penned for something special, I would think shearing but it seems a bit late for that. Otherwise, they would be out on a hillside grazing.betty-NZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03950300478215339641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5548985449194828359.post-56211032903722212013-03-28T22:23:53.380+13:002013-03-28T22:23:53.380+13:00Never seen so many sheep together in my life! Would that be for the night, every night or just on special occasion like vacinations, marking, shearing, getting ready for market, etc?

Your post reminded me of the bearded fellow with his dog we talked with on Mt. Victoria. He was a New Zealand sheep shearer, retired I think. We learned a lot from our enjoyable convsation with him.
..Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02982249173214655060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5548985449194828359.post-32354447130248928562013-03-28T10:49:58.402+13:002013-03-28T10:49:58.402+13:00That's a lotta sheep!
