My Corner of the World

I always wonder what the hanging fences were built to do.

That hanging fence must be there to give birds something to land on.

I hope it is to keep critters from taking a tumble. Or maybe it is a sky ladder that fell. Probably that.

Beautiful setting! I don't think I've ever seen a hanging fence before.

You know you're in New Zealand when you see these just about everywhere.

So people or animal will not fall off the cliff?

Really an interesting question, dear Betty, and a nice photo. I suppose the fence is supposed to just indicate to everyone up on the hill that it's going down behind it ;-)

Now that is curious! Perhaps one could use it as a ladder?

Happy Weds, Betty!

I suggest: Maybe so that the wolf cannot sneak up on it? All jokes aside, probably just to keep the animals from getting out? There should also be climbing artists!

Yes, what is that fence suppose to do? Mark a boundary? Thanks for the party!

What is the use of this carefully fenced place? It looks steep and poor ...

Happy WW, Betty! ♥
