Lovely wide shot of the beach. I am surprised people can drive on the beach.

A fun road to walk too. Miss going to the beach and the warmth now that the weather is chilly.

Yes, you wouldn't want to sunbathe in the wrong place! Good reminder.

Did you drive on it? Looks like a few fishing people out there.

wow, I haven't seen a sight like that, and I haven't seen vehicles on a beach.

Happy end of October and Happy Halloween!

I learned to keep to the damp shoreline and never drive in the soft sand. Had to pay ransom to a tow truck operator who had a very busy day!

Very nice beach and sand dunes. Thanks, Betty, for hosting MCoW and sharing your photos.

Strange announcement, but beautiful image!
Happy WW and a beautiful week! Thank you for the linking!

A very interesting beach. I have seen cars on the beach only in cases where drivers have violated the law banning cars on the beach. 😊
I wish you a wonderful day!

Beautiful photos! The beach we go to is used for a road too.

Interesting announcement and such a wonderful beach.

I hope they are adhering to the "road" rules :) Summer is on its way! Stay safe and have a great week.

Amazing beach, Loved the panoramic click.

A beautiful beach far away from the crowd would be a good place for a getaway during this pandemic. Happy Wednesday!

We do have some strange laws, don't we - beaches are legal roads, which never makes sense to me.

I've never heard of a beach that's a road. Interesting. Thanks for hosting, as usual. :)

A beach to dream of. Have a good week.

I wish I had a beach like that nearby.
Enjoy and take care!

Wow! It's the first time I've heard of such a thing. In Romania it is forbidden to drive cars on the beach.

I really liked panoramic photography. Congratulations!

Happy WW, dear Betty!

A beautiful beach! We also have some beaches where you can go by car! Every time it is an adventure, because it can happen that you get stuck in the sand and you have to shave the car off! I hope that it has not happened to you yet!
Greeting, Joana

I found you through Comedy Plus. Added your blog name and link to the Wordless Wednesday blog hop badge. Hope that's OK. Beautiful site. Would love to get to New Zealand some day!

Pretty scene!
Have a blessed day!

Now that's an interesting sign. In the US we have Daytona Beach where you can drive on. We've done it once. It's kinda fun and a great way to see a bit of the shoreline. It's nice for people to be able to drive their car right up to the beach and unpack everything for a day at the beach instead of trying to carry it all. Thanks for the party.

Now that seems good fun .... driving along the beach.

Pretty panoramic image! Destroying dunes is a serious thing. They protect the land behind them.

Dear Betty,
I hope the users of the Beach-Road stick to the rules!

I love camping on the beach - especially in places where you can drive on the beach. This past January we did a trip beach hopping and camping down the beaches of the Texas Gulf Coast. Loved it! I bet you have some great beaches in New Zealand!
