Out for a ride one Saturday, we saw a train come alongside the road. So....
we raced drove ahead to get a photo as it crossed the bridge.
Hubby finds the best little churches for me to shoot. This one is
Te Mangungu Church Anglican
on Turakina Beach Road.
A local rose grower, Matthews Roses, has planted a rose garden with picnic areas
along the roadside just south of Whanganui, cut into a corn field.
Pink bales support breast cancer, blue are for prostate cancer, purple support Starship
Children's Hospital and yellow are for children's cancer. Green are the usual color.

Love that abandoned building! Nice capture of the train too... the 'ribbon' colours vary to some degree according to where you are. Yellow is worn in QLD to support the rural fire service, but elsewhere is for awareness of endometriosis. The blue ribbon in other places is to support freedom of speech and in Canada is in support of non-smoking. I love that this farmer is 'shouting' out!!! YAM xx

Love the old building. Hubby saw an ad for a fun rail trip in Whanganui he wants to go. It is where you hire a golf buggy and drive it on the rail tracks They have been modified. Have you heard of them?
I love all the little churches you found and the old buildings. Great idea to have the coloured bales for charities. Have a great well ahead.
