Church of the Good Shepherd, Hinuera

As we wandered the countryside (as we do a lot!) we passed this little church.
Hubby was kind enough to turn around (again) for a photograph and there was a
member mowing the grass who let me inside!

A grand building is not required to worship, only like-minded people. Thanks for sharing this beautiful symbol of people joining hands toward a common purpose.

Nice church like the fact it was built in one day, shows people worked together to build it

Built in one Day!! Wow. What a sweet church. I love how you two wander the backroads and find so many interesting things that others would miss. And it is so cool that you met the parishioner who let you see the lovely church from the inside as well.
