Blog stats...

Blogland never ceases to amaze me.

I have posted some favorite photos that I just couldn't wait to share.

And, sometimes, I have shared shots that I like a lot but was not sure that my fellow bloggers would feel the same.

With that said, I clicked the 'all time' button on the stats page to see which of my photos has the most views and I was quite surprised to see which one was the run-away winner!

This is my most viewed photo.

And this is the second most views photo.

I never would have guessed these two in a million years.

But no matter which is most viewed, I appreciate each and every click :)

...I sometimes get too focused on numbers!

As blogger stats are notoriously misleading, I rarely bother with them. The more reliable way is to look at the figures at the side of the individual entries on the 'post' page themselves as these are actual page entries. If I took the stats results this would be #1 and this would be #2. Whilst if taking the page views from the postings page, then this is #1 (by a long margin) and this is #2... not that any are bad, but would not necessarily be my own fave picks. ... not that I would welcome the challenge of stating WHICH was in fact my fave!!! Thanks for setting the thinking cells going! YAM xx

Interesting. I have a post from several years ago that keeps getting lots of hits. I often wonder if it's hackers trying to hack my blog. I broke the link to this post last week to see if another post starts getting unusual amounts of hits.

Yes, sometimes there is no telling what the web will find popular. I have been surprised at times as well.

I don't think I've ever seen a bad picture on your blog and I'm glad I don't have to choose a favorite. NZ seems like a beautiful place to live ... I enjoy the mix of home (Your beautiful yard) and travel.
