St. Mark's, Lepperton

I have posted this church from the outside before, but for the Fringe Festival,
St. Marks was opened and decked out in her finest, complete with a turn-of-the-last-century wedding gown.

In 1899, a site for an Anglican church was give by the Lepper family. Five parishioners of the district cleared and prepared the section for the new building. This was opened free of debt and dedicated in 1901.

So nicely dressed up. Was it for a wedding or just to show off the church?

Love the stained glass windows, and the cascade of white flowers on the bush outdoors. That is a beautiful wedding gown. Thank you for sharing this lovely church.
