Pukekura Park

In case you haven't seen color in a while, I'm sharing some from my part of the world.

This is one of a few shags (cormorants) that make nests in the trees around the lake in the park.

This is Boris the Eel. He gets lots of attention.

Pretty flowers and sunshine!

The blossoms are so colourful! Interesting how this cormorant appears to be in its own tree. Here they live in large colonies in one tree. ;)

That eel! No wonder he gets attention! We have a little color still here in Oregon, but nothing like the beautiful flowers you show. Soon we're off to Florida and we'll see more.

Thank you for the colors. We won't see flowers around here for about six months. Snow predicted for tomorrow.

Hi Betty,

I just watched a documentation about NZ on German TV - but no Betty far and wide.
All the best from stormy and rainy Germany - in AUTUMNAL season! ;-)
