From the archives, this little guy hangs around the house sometimes. Maybe he wants some birdy company now and then.

Seriously envious! They will NOT sit still for me; I see Kingfishers (not exactly like this one, but close enough) on both Coasts quite often , but I have gotten one bad picture in all these years. It seems like they sit still for hours until I take out my camera and then whoosh!
