garden colors

I wanted to plant a flower garden for several reasons. The biggest reason was to see if I could attract bees and butterflies, even though the closest flowerbed that I know of is kilometers away.

I am so happy to report that I have been well rewarded with the wonderful buzzzzz of bees! Seeing 3 or 4 in one of the flower heads makes me grin from ear to ear.

The top left corner shows some dahlias that I uncovered while weeding. The rest of the flowers are unknown to me, but I still love their colors.

If I were a bee, I'd come there right away! :)

Your garden is beautiful. I am really excited to plant a few beds this year. I am thinking in terms of butterflies and bees too.

This is wonderful; I'm so happy your work was rewarded (doubly or triply -- you get to look at the beautiful colors of the flowers and plus attracting the bees and butterflies who need all the help they can get~). Wonderful post; makes me happy.

Why are there so few flower gardens in your area? Do you live way out in the country? Or .....
