unique and strange

This plant, growing in several places in the lawn garden, caught my eye during wet weather when the grass couldn't get cut. I initially thought the 'leaves' looked like hearts as they grow on stalks about a foot (30 cm) high. I've never seen anything like this before but it is definitely unique and strange.
*Thanks for the ID, Glennis and John, of 'shepherd's purse'.

While editing in Photoscape, there are many different things I can do to the colors and hues, but I guess I am a realist when it comes to photos and can't quite bring myself to show you strange and weird edits so I will just stick to color enhancing and monochrome.

Very interesting plant. The heart shape leaves reminded me of a plant covered with little butterflies.

I took a picture last winter (but in Florida, so it was warm) of a similar plant, red but each little flower-let looked like a heart. But I never could find out the name of it either..

I think the name of this plant is Shepherds Purse. It is a weed,

Yes, looks like shepherd's purse which comes up all over my garden. get rid of it unless you want lots of it!

Yes, it's shepherd's purse and grows all over in my garden. I love the heart, but I can not get rid of it.
