He's a very handsome fellow.
hi great shots but Mrs goldfinch looks like Mr goldfinch so the last photo must be a young bird although I am not convinced it is a Goldfinch. Have a great weekend.
oh, so I only need to get to NZ to see a Goldfinch?! I was thinking I'd have to get to the U.K. or other....Lovely photos Betty

Nice pics Betty. We have a pair visiting us almost every day but so far they have eluded the lens!
so very cute! :)
Such a colourful bird, so different from our goldfinches here. Terrific shots!
Love the pictures! We don't have those around here! Love to see them in person!!!

What cute birdies! I've never seen ones like that. Love the fluffy quality.
Oh, he's a handsome one!~Lindy
A very English-looking Goldfinch, presumably the descendants of escapees. They used to be kept as cage-birds in the past so I would guess that's how they come to be so far from home.
Your birds are gorgeous ! Great shots !
Most like the last pic. He's posing for you :)Thanks for stopping by...www.1sthappyfamily.com/2014/06/wanna-be-butterfly.html
