view from my window

Just a few days ago, there was no snow on the mountaintop, but the weather has finally turned cold enough to cover it over. Alas, winter is definitely on its way.

Beautiful shot and with no clouds around the mountain. It is an awesome blue day down my way too.

Amazing landscape with the mountain in teh background, and really like the contrast in colors. I hope you like cold weather. It was a long really cold winter here, so we are rejoincing in spring's arrival.

Neat capture, Betty. It's kind of hard to imagine pretty green grass and trees and snow in the same picture.

It's still winter in our area. We got about 6" of snow this week. Today was in the 40's with 40-50 mph winds. That will melt snow and dry things out quick like.

I have heard the first snow also fell in Aus, but I am too far from there. The mountain looks beautiful with it's white cap on.

Love seeing snow on the mountains! Looks a lot like Mt. Hood in Oregon where I live.

What an awesome view you have of the mountain. So funny to hear you talking of winter when we are in the midst of spring here.
