a rare sight in NZ

This sight may be an ordinary fall view to you but here in New Zealand, it's quite rare. There are very few deciduous trees and we had to take a wrong turn to find this scenery which I consider 'typically fall'.

This is so beautiful! Fall is my favorite time of the year and the foliage in Vermont is magnificent.

I want to take a blanket, lie down, and listen to the leaves, right there! :)

I didn't realize that deciduous trees were unusual in NZ! Very interesting. Lovely catch, even for those of us for whom falling leaves are not uncommon (in the opposite season of course).
