Pig out point

There is an oceanside parking lot in New Plymouth called 'Pig out point' (well, by the locals, anyway) that is, of course, a convenient place to eat your fast food after you've gone through the drive-thru window.

The gulls are very aware of this place and perch expectantly on the hood bonnet of your car. They have no shame.

We got a spectacular view of the windsurfers as we dined al fresco.

They're all spectacular! I sure would like to wind surf one day, but doubt I'd have the nerve!

I wish i could windsurf...it would probably end badly....
with my luck I would get eaten or something... knowk myself out on the one reef bar for miles... you know...
if it can happen... it will....to me!
Great photos though! I love the brilliance of the blue!

Ha - great pictures of the surfers - but those birds sure are cheeky buggers! Thanks for sharing.

Those pesky gulls are a bit cheeky, makes a great photo though, and the wind surfers would be nice to watch while you eat on such a lovely day.
